    In this case, you could try the steps below to import embedded data. After that, please check whether the notes in the document recovered.

    If still unable to fix the problem, we suggest submitting feedback via "Settings" > "Feedback" > "+" on your device. Please make sure that you tick the option "send logs" while sending the Feedback so that we can analyze and diagnose the exact problem better.     Having the exact same issue now. Lost hundreds of notes on JPG files when I wanted to check them on my PC. I didn't move, edit, or rename any files but my Ultra Tab C for some reason is no longer associating the notes with the JPGs. Have you had any luck fixing this? I just submitted my own ticket.

    Not sure why this is a difficult problem. It should be well understood what is going on since the app's code that loads the file is well defined and has a specific criteria for how it loads the notes.

    I would think so too! I know Boox has proprietary .notes files or something along those lines, but it shouldn't be an issue when the file is identical to the one I edited. Please let me know if you find a solution and I will as well!

    I can't directly reply to the "official comment" but I tried that several times. Doesn't work.

    It would be nice to know how boox stores the notes data. If it is in the pdf files or somewhere else.
