Borrowing Books from local libraries
Hello
I'm contemplating purchasing the Boox Tab Ultra C.
Currently we are kindle users and have successfully downloaded books from libraries to our kindle. Also Kobo users can have books sent to their devices via libby and overdrive that is used by most libraries.
Can someone clarify (step by step preferred) how this could be achieved on a Boox Tab Ultra C and comment about whether it would be a similar/different process for any other Boox model. We are still shopping around!
Thanks

Dear customer,
You could install Kindle and Kobo apps on the BOOX Tab Ultra C via the Google Play store. After that, you could log in to your account on those app to purchase/borrow/read ebooks through the apps on the BOOX device.
Many thanks for your time.
Sincerely,

I use library books and even though OverDrive allows me to borrow the books and download them on to my Kobo, Kobo's Help says to use Adobe Digital Editions or log in to OverDrive directly from the e-reader. So the library books are not on my Kobo profile/app anyway. I download them through a cable (laptop - ADE - Kobo) or through OverDrive app on my Kobo e-reader.
Installing Kobo's app doesn't solve the issue with library books that are on Kobo e-reader.
However, it does solve the problem if you install the OverDrive app specific for the library. In my case it was Libby. Once I installed the Libby app on Tab X I could read the borrowed books (same book that was protected with DRM on my laptop) :).0
