Nice to have - turn off backlighting with the smart cover closes?
Hello all,
Putting my Boox Nova Air C to sleep when the smart cover is closed is way too inconvenient because of the delay in restarting and entering my password.
However, when I close my smart cover, it would be really nice to be able to automatically turn off the WiFi and the backlighting so that I don't waste power.
I know that I just need to swipe down and tap three buttons (white light/soft light/WiFi), but that also takes some time. If I'm moving from location to location, it would be a vast improvement just to open / close my Nova Air C. Even having to swipe down and tap three buttons is faster than waking up the Nova.
The point is that I want to be able to write notes as quickly as I can with paper and pen and every (albeit tiny) delay is a barrier.
Even better is the ability to customize actions when the smart cover is opened and closed.
Thanks

Thanks Derek,
To reiterate the issue, because there is some confusion on my similar Reddit post, I don't want to waste time because I need to enter my password every time I open and close my Boox, which I may do 100 times a day.I still like the security of a lock screen, I just don't want the lock screen to activate immediately on closing the smart cover and opening it a few minutes later.
Ideally, I would love to be able to configure the Boox so that when the smart cover is closed, it will immediately shut off the backlighting, optionally turn off wifi/bluetooth, and only after x minutes (i.e. 30, 60, 120, etc.), go to sleep.
Currently, the only options are to do nothing when the smart cover is closed (including leaving the backlight on) or go to sleep immediately upon closing the smart cover.
I know it takes seconds to wake up and enter my password, but that adds a few moments that I could have been writing a note. Because of those extra seconds, I still find it easier to write notes on paper. :(
I want this device to be as quick and easy as writing in a paper notebook.
Thanks again.

Additionally, having more flexibility in the Auto Sleep options would be nice.
Currently, the options are 3, 5, 10, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or never. Why not allow the user to set a custom number of minutes or at least a few additional hour selections?
