So FAT not EXFAT? 4GB? This doesn't seem right.

The work instruction says that the parameters shown are just an example - of course you can format whatever size you want.
Android 13 was the first version to support exFAT officially:https://www.androidpolice.com/pixel-android-13-exfat-support-history/
so you might be out of luck there as I think most Boox devices are still @ Android 12.
As per that linked article sometimes an exFAT driver has been backported by the vendor ... might be the case here.
I'd test it for you but don't have any spare SD cards to format.For the record, it doesn't look like Android support NTFS either.

You should just go ahead and try and then if it isn't readable reformat to FAT32.
