use of SD card on Note Air 3
How to configure and use SD card as a memory for applications from Google Play and to store notes and books from Kindle Cobo and other Google Play apps.
I have tried everything, and it looks like I'm able to define the storage or memory card inside the Kindle app, but I am still very far from a straightforward solution of an SD card as primary memory.

Dear Mike,
We are afraid that it is unable to change the directory for saving files to the SD card. Many thanks for your understanding. -
Same issue for me, unable to find a function for a config for the sd card.

Please post if you figure out how to use the SD card as a primary memory that would be great, we got confidence in you 😉.

I am in the same boat, can fit a considerable larger storage card but the OS defaults to internal memory which makes the micro SD redundant. Yes, files can be manually transferred to it, but templates have to be stored on the internal drive and they take up a fair bit of space along side apps

Definitely in the same boat. With only about 64gb on onboard storage, I'm trying to make sure all "documents" are on the SD card: no problems having my books/PDFs, music, and other documetnts on the SD, but I'm a little nervous that I'm going to fill up my internal storage with my note-taking.
I'm hoping there's a firmware update for this. I get that the "database" might need to stay on the internal drive, but I will get a lot more life out of this thing knowing I won't run out of space anytime soon.

We suggest that after you properly insert the SD card into the device, open the third-party app, go to Settings > Download/Storage Options, and select the SD card as the default storage/download location. Some apps may require you to manually transfer data to the SD card.

The suggested solution does not actually address the problem. What is point of having the SD card for expandable memory if this memory cannot be used as the primary memory.
The issue remains that the internal storage is still the default for the templates and notes, which still take up a significant amount of memory. This issue was first raised over a year ago has only now received any response from support which that does not address the issue or offer any further details of potential firmware updates that would actually address the concerns.
Very poor

Reply after one year is not very reassuring. In addition, it doesn't address the core problem.Â
I use voice recording when I keep my notes. I want to be able to confirm my notes by using an SD card as local storage for external templates, notes, text, and everything related to note taking
