Feature request: Custom markdown -> way to automate
Hallo,
I have an idea for improvement, leading to better self prductivity.
TLDR: automatic actions based on my personal marks in handwritten notes
Context
I used to use my personal markdown in handwritten notes (and I suppose, other people do so). I have these marks on the begin of row
- square - it means here is task, I have to do
- triangle - here is feedback remark, I need to improve or say to someone else
- circle with plus sign in it - here is feedback remark, I need to prize someone
- exclqmation mark and question mark - important thing or question I need to clarify
Idea
The square mark is subject of this request. As my handwritten notes helsp me to remeber, I do regullary transfer tasks to my external software (Google Tasks in my case) and then work on them.
And, I found here is possibility to serach square in finder. So it came in my mind, it would be nice, if tehere could be some (semi)automation recognizing the text written after square mark and trnasfer it to Task management software.
On the begin it could be a part of lasso fucntion - not necessary to fully automate it. But in future it could be automated.
More
And of course personal markdown could be subject of possible customisation for users. In my case here are marks stated above and I can imagine, that other people have their own set of marks.
What do you think about this?
Thank You for reacitons

Similar functionality with the SuperNote (starred lines being searchable or something like that) is something I hear celebrated in reviews of that device. I really love the idea of transcribing marked lines into a to-do list. I currently have a "capture" list that I manually transcribe to from meeting minutes, daily planning sheets, etc and it certainly takes effort / diligence that I think automation would help with.
On the other hand, transcribing them (cut/paste, usually) also gives them more "importance" in my mind and reminds me to pay more attention to my lists ... something I'm still working on ... so there might be a downside to automation.
Would be fun to try it and see which works better.
Thing about that kind of thing is it's difficult to make something like that flexible enough to serve multiple peoples workflow -- where do you collect the summaries? What different kinds of marks? -- so it really needs to be something very basic to start to keep it flexible. One thing I've heard about Boox is that they're enthusiastic about trying new things and development is quick-paced -- hopefully something along these lines to try soon!
Good way to see something developed is to put in a Submit a Request. You should take a look at what Supernote does along these lines and put in a suggestion.
