My Mac with Sonoma OS doesn’t see my Tab Mini C

My Tab Mini C is not seen as a device on my MacBook Pro with Sonoma OS, so I can’t transfer any file, see its directories or use Adobe Digital Editions, but is only recognized by Calibre. Any advice? Thanks

  Well, I don't know enough about Apple hardware to really answer that definitively but I would expect that USB interoperability would be an OS problem and unlikely a hardware problem.  Apple not accessing a 3rd party device properly is definitely not unprecedented. 
  
  Of course replacing MacOS with Linux on your laptop is a super big deal so unless you know a lot about that it's probably not something you should be considering.

  Hopefully someone with actual Macbook experience can give you some advice getting things working with what you've got.

  I suppose if you've got access to a Windows PC or laptop you could try connecting it there to make sure everything is working fine on the tablet.
  
  I don't have a Tab Mini C but on my Note Air 3c I can use send2boox (the boox cloud file service) to send everything to my device -- you should be able to do that, right?
  
  I do find file organizing right on the device (moving files around into folders) is pretty cumbersome so I definitely connect my device to my PC and use a file browser for any substantial file organizing.

  But just thought I'd mention it in case you weren't aware that connecting your tablet to your PC isn't the only (or best) way to get files onto the tablet.

  Thank you for your care; for sure it’s a Mac problem, because with an old and slow Windows notebook the Tab Mini C is seen. I’ll try anyway with my bigger iMac (who knows?) and for a last chance my wife’s old but still working Win PC (wives are not to be disturbed ;) ). My concern is mainly about installing the dictionaries. I’m Italian and, though I read a lot in English, I’d need Italian and English>Italian dictionaries. If the ‘dct’ is not visible, it is hard to transfer new dictionaries. II’ll let you know :).

  Well, eventually I was able to enter the Tab Mini C folders using a very old and very slow little Windows notebook. I found and downloaded an Italian dict, unzipped it and put it in the Dict folder. I also saw that the last Mini Tab software update allows to download monolingual dictionaries. But I need an English-Italian dictionary which is not present in the Boox list on the reader. I found some of them, but they did not work. Do you have any suggestion?
