Disappearing Lines
Both the Boox Air 3 and Boox Utra tab 3 c models have serious issues when drawing. More specifically, sections will disappear when shading a drawing. It seems like lines or strokes are less likely to disappear when sketching line by line; however, it is impossible to shade. This was one of the features that I most desired in an e-reader. If I am unable to find a fix for this, I will have to return both devices. I am hopeful that these issues can be resolved.

I have the same issue when I'm shading areas on my Note Air 3 c with the Pen 2 Pro. It is basically not possible to use it for drawing, because every time you try to shade an area the whole section just disappears. Sometimes even simple lines can't be drawn, they keep on disappearing and leave white spots in the picture as if a section had been partially erased. It feels almost as if the eraser would be activated, except for the fact that it isn't being used and not even activated by mistake.

I bought the Boox Air for my son and the Ultra C Pro for myself. Both of us love to sketch, read, and journal. I was hopeful that these expensive devices, which have received good reviews on YouTube, would be able to handle our top three needs. I'm disappointed that these devices can't handle drawing as advertised. I suppose I have to send them back while I still can. Thanks for sharing your experience, Julia.

Hey I was having this issue and I figured it out! Check the AI tools panel and make sure "Strikethrough Erase" is turned off.
Haven't had the issue since then! Hope that helps!

Thank you for sharing the fix. Can anyone share with me where the AI tool feature is located?
Thanks!

You have to open the Notes App and then open any document. On the left side almost at the bottom there is a section called "AI". You have to click on it and in the dropdown menu that opens you find the "Strikethrough Erase" option that you can deactivate. I hope this was helpful.
