Unable to make notes with stylus on Nova air C

I cant make notes on my Nova air C 7,8. The touchscreen seems fine (and fast) but when clicking notes and trying to write something down with the stylus it just doesn't work. I'm also not able to select the calibration function with my stylus (nor by hand). 

I've updated my BooX and put it back to original settings, still no luck.
