Poke 3 Type-C to HDMI converter compatibility

Hello, when my daughter dropped the Poke 3 device, the device got locked. I'm seeing the last book page and some minor dark spots on the screen.

Now, I am trying to understand whether it's a problem with the device itself or whether the screen stopped working. I tried solutions such as holding down the power button, trying to access the recovery menu by pressing power button it a few times, etc. but none worked.
My question is, is it possible to get HDMI output via type-c input on this device?

This way I think I could try other options without breaking anything else.
