Feature request - neo reader highlighter

I read lots of pdf papers on Tab X and need to make markups and highlights. I prefer drawing a straight line when I highlight texts, but I need to select the text I want to highlight first and then choose to highlight in a pop-up box every single time, which is annoying and a waste of time. Can you please make a text highlighter as a separate function so that I can just hit the highlighter icon and keep highlighting? Adobe, drawboard, and Quaderno, and many other software and devices have such a basic feature.
