New using Boox - Difference between local notes and reading notes

Hi there, as I am new using Boox devices and I could not find any post related to my inquiry, I would like to ask the community whether there is a difference between 2 options in the Boox menus: Local Notes and reading notes.

What is the difference between them? As the name suggest local notes look like notes you create directly from the device, Am I right?

However don't know what readings notes are for and how to use/access them.

Any help/suggestion?
