How come Boox tab ultra c pro has been updated to Android 12 but not ultra C?

  Of course I can't answer for boox but just curious what features you were looking for.  My understanding of Android 12 is very minor changes.

  You are right. But being on more updated OS provides for better security. But more than that, I am curious why Onyx hasn't updated Ultra Tab to Android 12 even though the specs should allow this

  ++1 the issue is lack of android security patch updates prohibits use of device (TabUltraCPro) in companies which require you to maintain a min level of updates.  Currently the patch level is dated 2024-01-01.

  ++1 I have this exact same issue - I cannot connect to my company's IT systems because Android 11 is too old to receive security updates and is therefore classified as insecure.
