Recorder in background not working after update to 3.5.3
Hi. I'm using a boox note air 2, it's running 3.5.3
after the recent upgrade (july 1st 2024 I think) it is no longer possible to record audio in the background. it used to be possible.
When I check the permissions of recorder I see that it can only record audio when it is running in the foreground.
app management/app info/Recorder/Permissions/Microphone => set to "Only while app is in use"
there is no way for me to set the permission to 'always' as this is a setting outside of the way permission management is set up. it can (I think) be fixed by boox by providing it directly in the manifest (?)
The phenomenon: you start recorder, then you open notes for instance and you work in that. then you go back to recorder. you will see that the recorder is still running so you can stop the recording.
however if you listen to the recording you will find silence from the moment you switched from the recorder to a note. the recorder permission limit has kicked in.
I think that (have not tested) this also stopped the feature in Recorder called "When standby, stop recording and save automatically" which i have set to 'off'.

did a bit more testing and it seems that the access to the microphone is not taken away immediately after switching tasks to something else. it takes a bit longer, let's say a minute or so, before the recording goes 'blank'.
