v.3.5.4 causes screen refresh issue and vertical lines

Hi,

My device was prompting for update for two weeks, finally I gave in and jumped to version 3.5.4 and after that I am facing extremely slow screen refresh rate plus vertical blank lines. Setting refresh rate to ultra-fast helps somewhat but the lines are still too much that device is unusable.

• NeoReader v3.0 (37210 - cd5fa40296b5)

Similar issue also happened when I updated from 3.5.1 to 3.5.3 but upgrading to 3.5.4 fixed it. I have submitted feedback from the device. A video of the issue can be found here:

Edit: I can confirm there is no hardware damage. Device was perfectly fine until I updated and restarted the device. Also, I purchased this device on 26-Apr-2024 so it's quite new.
