Small dot on top of screen

Hi, I am using Go 10.3 for 1 week. Suddenly I notice a small dot on the top of the screen, around 1 inch+ from the left. It is not black/white dot, as it disappears when the screensaver is active or certain applications are running and reappears when I return to the home screen. Is it some form of indicator?
