Defective screen

Half of my screen is not working anymore. If is very blurry and pixelated. 

I contacted support and they told me I broke it....

My view:

- I am careful with my devices; have also a Tab X that has served me a long time

- I always keep the device in the cover when I travel

Question: in my view this is a manufacturing defect, some assembly that might have not been done right, or a design issue, using cheaper protective layers. Does anybody have the same problem?

  Guten Abend ich habe heute Abend, das gleiche Problem an meinem Gerät festgestellt. Auch mein Gerät wird sehr sorgfältig behandelt und aufbewahrt. Habe es zudem fast nie benutzt. Habe noch keinen Kontakt mit dem Support gehabt; Wie weiter?

  Don,t drop it. I open it and bang...bad screen ???

  Look on internet. Many people same problem.
  And they always say " you drop it "
