A Scroll View's Alternative in Notes (Scroll Write)
For the most part of my note taking experience (currently using Note Air2), I have found that I almost always begin my strokes somewhere around the middle of the page.
If it were a document I was writing on in NeoReader, I will mostly have "Scrolling View" enabled and scroll (swipe up) as I write so that I will keep my writing to a fixed position on the screen. It has, as a consequence, been on my mind that perhaps, there could even be a better implementation of this idea in Notes. This could be done such that, as you write with the pen, you could simply tap on the screen and initiate a scroll so that the next empty line will be right where you began the previous one. Of course, that will be when the feature (Scroll Write) is enabled. In essence, the proposed "Scroll Write" feature could be thought of as achieving a return with a typewriter.
This natural urge to want to start writing close to the "middle", for me, stems from the fact that, if it were an actual book (paper), I could have my lower arm bending the part of the book that trails at the edge of the table as I start writing from the very top. In the case of a rigid device like Note Air2, instinctively, you will want to keep the entire device on table for the obvious reason of preventing a fall. Also, one could attribute it to the fact that, we unknowingly prefer scrolling as we read so that we could keep our eyes at a fixed position (middle) and rather bring the next lines of text we are about to read to the eyes' position.
If there is already a way to achieve this which am unaware, you could let me know whilst yo share your thoughts. Thank you.
