Interest Check: Movable Todo App
Hi all, I have been looking a while for a capability that I have so far not found. That is to use an eInk device to make a todo list that can 1) write with a stylus for each todo as it it were a paper todo list 2) delete them and the remaining ones automatically "move up" to provide space for the next one 3) be able to reorder them seamlessly 4) have the ability to mark progress like "new, started, underway, complete" and when complete the todo item disappears and again space is made for the others. I do not need or want OCR etc. I just want the same experience of usign a paper todo list, but that is digitally enhanced. I feel like the built in capabilities on all eInk devices Ive seen are trying too hard to just be paper, ... but I already have paper. I want something better.
So far I haven't found such a capability, but, as I posted in another thread, I just built a web app that does this and was very excited to use it. However, the latency was bad, as I guess is common for Boox and other devices for non-native apps. I have started to work on a native Android app that uses the Boox SDK, but it's very tedious. I'm writing this to see if there would be others interested in the capability to help me justify spending the time.
Anyone feel like such a capability would be valueable for their workflow? Anyone would be interested to try it if it existed? Did I explain it well enough to understand? Let me know!
