Inverted highlighting shows as overlay when transferred

Hello,

Appreciate your assistance to understand how the inverted highlight used to highligh pdf documents in Neo reader in my Note 2plus can show in coloured highlight when reading that same pdf in Adobe in a laptop:

I like to use the inverted highlighted mode in black color for my documents and books read in my note 2 plus.

Currently, when read from any PC with Adobe Reader, those same highlights are showing as overlay (fully black and hence the text not showing, as it had been strikenthrough).

I noticed that for the first two books I read right after purchasing my note 2plus (about 7 months ago), for which I used the black inverted highlight mode when reading them in my Note 2plus,  the highlights when read externally in Adobe Reader are showing orange.
