Note Air2 Plus: How to have a to do list in a Notepad?

Can i have section on a notepad that is for cryptic notes such as to do list etc. while the regular notepad continues to be pages that scroll as I write?

Alternatively, can i split the screen to see two Notepads at once?  So far it seems you can split only with books but not have two Notepads open at the same time.
