NeoReader in BOOX Go 7 (3.5.4) does not display some content

I am using BOOX Go 7 (3.5.4).

When I use NeoReader to display Japanese books in portrait mode, some of the content is not displayed.

The parts that are not displayed are the parts of the text that contain images or special characters.

In the case of images, the several lines immediately before the image and its insertion point will be blank.

In the case of special characters, several lines will be blank from the point where the character is inserted.

When the same book is written horizontally, everything is displayed correctly.

Is this problem something that can be resolved in the settings?
