Audio Issue with Screen Cast on Note Air 4c

Hi,

I’m loving the Note Air 4c so far, but I’m experiencing an issue with the screen casting feature. When I use "Screen Cast" to connect to devices like a Windows laptop or an iPad, the audio plays simultaneously from both the Note Air 4c speakers and the receiving device. This happens whether I use AirSquirrels Reflector on Windows or AirDroid on the iPad as the receiving device.

Is there a way to mute the audio on the Note Air 4c speakers when casting so that it only plays through the cast receiving device?

  We apologize for the inconvenience.

  In this case, you can mute the Note Air 4 C by swiping down from the top right of the screen to bring up the Control Center > Turn the volume of the device to the minimum. After that, please check if it is possible to fix the issue.

  Hello,

  I tried casting and turned down the volume through the control center. When I do this, the audio of the device speakers turns off as expected. Unfortunately, doing this also turns down the audio of the device receiving the casting. I was hoping to hear audio only through the cast receiver, and not through the Note Air 4c speakers.

  Is there anything else I should try on my end, or is this something that could be addressed in a future update?

  Thank you for the help! Aside from this issue, the device is working well.
