    Dear customer,
    We are sincerely sorry that it is unable to change the default directory from the local store to the SD card for downloading files. In this case, you move the files from the local storage to the SD card. Many thanks for your understanding.

    Dear Customer Support,

    I was thinking maybe you will feature the use of SD card within the next updates, but nothing happend. I saw a lot requests regarding the use of the SD card slot in the community. The possibility of using a SD card in the device is a feature which will be used for your advertisment, so if it will not work your company is promissing wrong functionalities for the devices. From my perspective you are using a Android operating system. It should be possible to configure the Android to use the SD card slot as storrage extension. 

    Under European law, an unusable but advertised product feature would be misleading advertising. Under EU law, there are URGENT claims for repair, a reduction in the purchase price, or compensation.

    It is not exceptable that the SD card slot will be a advertisement feature which can not be used. Every other Andriod device is in the position to use the SD card as extension. Why is it not possible for the BOOX Tablets?

    Please check for an ASAP firmware update.

    When using 3rd-party apps to download files, it will save the files to the "Download" folder in the internal storage by default. Some apps support changing the download path, and some apps don't. The feature of changing the download path depends on the app, not the device. Therefore, BOOX did not engage in false advertising. In this case, you can check the settings of the app or browser to see if it is possible to change the path for downloading files to the SD card.

    Secondly, after you insert an SD card into the device and you have books in the SD card, you can go to Library > Click the hamburger icon on the top right corner > Library Settings > Automatically scan specified folder in the Storage > Add. Then, you can add the path where you save the books in the Micro SD card. After that, your books on the SD card will automatically appear in the Library of the device.

    Dear Customer Support!

    Thank you for your feedback. I have found one failure in my Note 4C yesterday night.

    I have had set the option for auto-update, but the device didn't do the update. It was the first FW (delivery status) on the device. I didn't manage to start the update manually. After full reset, it did the updates. Now I have access to the SD card.

    Confusing to me is now, why the SD card will be fully formated with the same folder structure as the device, but nothing is syncronised. A nice feature will be, if you can choose where the notes will be stored (internal or SD). Sure the sync with the cloud will be done too. But sometimes you don't have access to WiFi. If you need to reset the device all data which is created in the meantime will be lost.

    I also have a wish, regarding the PDF generation. If a PDF file is generated the PDF file will be lost in the internal folder structure, if you don't open the folder structure straigth after genereation. Is there the possiblity to set a target folder, for the generated PDF files (probably also on the SD card)?
