Using Palma 2 (2025-01-10_12-58_4.0_6c74f3940) – Two Issues about Kid mode!
I've been using the latest version of Palma 2, and overall, it's been a great experience. However, there are a few things that could be improved:
❌ 1. Kid Mode requires a Wi-Fi connection to activate.
Is this really necessary? There are times when internet access is limited or unavailable, making it inconvenient to enable Kid Mode. It would be much better if this feature could work offline as well.
❌ 2. In Kid Mode, the screen doesn’t turn off when closing the flip cover.
This raises concerns about potential screen burn-in and long-term durability, especially since my child has 24/7 access to the device in Kid Mode. Ideally, closing the cover should trigger sleep mode to protect the display.
❌ 3. No fingerprint unlocking for Kid Mode.
It would be great if my child could use their fingerprint to unlock the device directly into Kid Mode. This would make it easier for them to continue where they left off without my assistance, improving both convenience and security.
I’d really appreciate it if these issues could be addressed in a future update! 🙏
