PDF Import/Export Size (Go 10.3, 2025-01-22_23_33_v4.0-rel)
I am testing out the new beta on the Go 10.3 and noticed some unwanted behavior with the handling of PDFs, primarily when importing and exporting pages from a notebook.
I create a new notebook on the Boox for handwriting notes. Using the new 4.0 feature to add a page from external file, I select a single page PDF (lecture notes) that is 8.5x11 (US Letter) and create a new page from that document. It works, and the document appears fine on the BOOX.
The problem is, the internal dimensions of the PDF are not correct. When I write on the page on the Boox, the pen thickness is almost 3x thicker, so for example if I hand-write on a normal notebook page at 0.7 thickness, and then move to the imported PDF page, the 0.7 thickness ends up making a VERY thick line. I need to reduce width to around 0.2 in order for the pen's lines to match the other pages.
When exporting the entire notebook to PDF, the issue is much more visible in that in the final PDF document produced, the native BOOX pages have a dimension of 25.84 × 34.45 inches but the pages that originated form PDF have a size 8.5 x 11 so it's clear that the imported PDF pages are not being set to the correct internal dimensions or DPI.
