Can no longer select pages of a note to copy to another note

Boox Tab C Pro v3.5.4 (2024-09-11_12-13_3.5.4_e48af4b8a

 

My tab has lost the ability to copy pages. 
I used to be able to go into thumbnail view in the note, select some pages and then copy them. Selection is no longer available in thumbnail view. All I can do now is click on a page to jump to it, with no other options

Therefore there is no easy way now to move pages. Instead I have to "lasso" page by page to copy and paste to another notebook. This is severely impacting my normal workflow.
