Disable popup after underline to annotate/ circle to annotate using smart scribe in Neoreader
I like the underline annotation using smart scribe when reading PDF documents, but the edit highlight window always pop up which is disturbing when one is making multiple highlights and have to keep on tapping it away. When using the usual highlighting with pen or finger, the pop up does not show.
Is it possible to set it somewhere ? Or please remove this popup for better user experience.

Dear customer,
We apologize for the inconvenience. In this case, you can open a book > tap on the center of the page to bring up the menu > click "More" on the top right corner > Settings > Global Settings > Enable "Highlight text after selection". After that, the pop-up will not show when you highlight the text. It will only show after you tap on the highlighted text. -
Hello, below is the screenshot of my global setting on NeoReader, I don’t see the Highlight setting you are referring to. I checked my software update, I am on the latest version, and the device is Note Air4C.

Hi Knorrmei,
We apologize for the inconvenience. In this case, you could go to More > Settings > Dictionary Settings > on "Prioritize word lookup and translation" and select "Word Selection Mode". After that, please check if it is possible to fix the problem.0 -
Hey,
thanks! it works when I toggle off `Prioritize word lookup and translation` (so both `Word Selection Mode` and `Translation on Selection Model` are off).0
