Recent firmware update

I installed the newest firmware update last night for my Max 3. It made the stylus very difficult to use. I use the stylus to underline, write notes, and draw. Now I cannot use it easily. There are lots of stray marks, and palm rejection frequently fails. I used to have to press the stylus against the screen to make a mark, which made clean writing easy. Now it seems to activate a few millimeters above the screen and make lots of stray marks. Please tell me how to fix this issue so I can get back to work. Thank you.

  Athenaios, I am also having this issue. Can you share a photo (possibly via imgr or similar platform) to show the issue happening? It would be good to know if I have the same issue and if it is firmware or hardware related.
