Device encryption on Nova 2
Hi all,
I just bought the Nova 2. I intend to use it as a business device, so I want to use things like OneNote, OneDrive, Mail, Calendar, Teams etc. They are all Office 365 based. However, my employer requires all connecting devices to be encrypted. I know that this is a functionality of the android system, however it is not present in the UI. The result is that I for example cannot use the Outlook App to connect to my corporate email. The same is for the Teams, OneDrive and OneNote apps that I want to connect to Office 365 services.
Does anyone know how to get the device properly (and supported) encrypted?
Many thanks!
Regards,
Andre

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback here!
Currently, we do not have a certain plan to get Boox devices encrypted in other ways. You are suggested to keep encrypted by our Boox account if you do have this sort of need. Please keep following our Facebook on the newest notification.
Thanks for your support!

Any chance support for full disk encryption was added in Boox OS 3? I'm in a similar position where my work policy manager prevents account logins from machines that don't support disk encryption. It has been a feature since around Android 5, but I know it was not available in Boox OS on the Android 9 builds.
I know this is what is keeping myself and many other colleagues for buying tablets since we need to be able to read work documents.

Hi. With Nova 3 I have the same problem, no encryption support.
Workaround for the email and calendar only - If your company allows using outlook webmail, try Gmail App. When Gmail login screen appears, switch to the desktop mode (top right menu).
