How to sync PDF annotations to dropbox on Note 2
Hi,
I can't figure out how to sync annotations made to PDFs or other documents using dropbox on my Note 2. I've enabled "Dropbox Sync" in the settings but it doesn't seem to do anything. There's a folder in dropbox called "Apps\onyx-knote" but it's empty.
If I open a document in Dropbox using "Open with..." and select Neo Reader the file is copied to local storage under "downloads". Any changes I make are stored to this copy but not synced to dropbox.
Thanks,
Maarten

There was a long thread about broken note synch with third party apps (OneNote, Dropbox, evernote...)- looks like the thread disappeared.
Long story short, third app synch is broken since v2.3, and no fix on sight.0 -
I have the same problem and was also advised to submit it via feedback. No help was provided and they stopped replying me. What a shame! Really surprised by the incompetence.

Hello,
Apology for all the inconvenience has caused.
Since our technical team has been working on a large number of feedback cases, it might take some time to reply to every inquiry. Sorry about that. And they will reply to your feedback directly most of the time which you can check the replies on your Boox device feedback section.
As for the dropbox sync, you can bind your dropbox account to the Note app and transfer notes to your Dropbox account. Please note that the notes which are transferred to your Dropbox account are in PDF format, so they could not be edit in the Note app anymore. And if you do not want to use a Boox account, you can also back up the notes in the local storage.
And as to other third-party apps' sync functions, you are suggested to update your device to our newest firmware version V2.3.1 which improves a lot for customers' requests and pleasant experiences on sync.
We count on your understanding and support always. Thank you for your time.

Hello @Michelle. Unfortunately what you are talking about is what we have done before without any success. After binding the dropbox account, no PDF annotation can been transferred to dropbox. As simple as it seem. Maybe there is a special procedure for transferring PDF annotations to dropbox, which I am not aware of. The current thing I should do, which is painful, is to upload manually the saved PDF file to dropbox, which doesn't make sense
