I have MaxCarta can I use the latest Firmware of another superior Max?

Hello, I have MaxCarta, wich still uses the outdated NeoReader v2.0. Can I use a newer Firmware in order to have a better NeoReader (such as v3.0) and also a better UI in the whole OS?

My MaxCarta only has 1 GHz of Processing and 1 GB of RAM. Is it possible to run another Firmware in it?

 

If yes, what could be the consequences? Will it become faster or slower??

 

(I'm already using the latest Firmware available to MaxCarta, which is V1.8.2)
