Feature Request: Navigation ball option to enable the frontlight immediately

It would be very useful if there would be an option in the Navigation Ball to turn on the frontlight immediately. Currently, the frontlight command launches the configuration window, but if I one is in a situation where the screen is invisible (i.e., in the dark), it's not easy to find the controls (toggles, slides, checkboxes) to turn on (or adjust) the light in the first place.

It would help if the frontlight would turn on immediately, and with the screen now visible, then users could customize the frontlight to their liking. The device could even remember the last or preferred user setting, or use a default configuration (in a medium setting, not too bright nor too dim).
