Issue with Onyx account binding a mobile number after unbinding from another account
I have created an account on my onyx boox device, using my email, but I did not bind the mobile number, then because I wanted to use the android assistant I downloaded the app which asked me to use the phone to create the account, because the phone was not bound to the email address it actually created a new one.
After some effort I managed to unbind the phone number from the account created on the android device, but now when I try to bind that number to my account created on my onyx device, I am getting a failure (clicking on the 'Send Verification Code').
Does anyone else have the same issue with me, and is there a way to resolve it?
I have also waited a couple of days to bind my phone number (after I unbound it from my other account) just in case it is a security issue, but I am still getting the same error (Failed to send verification code)

I'm facing the exact same problem.
Did you manage to solve it?
How did you manage to unbind the phone from the account created on the android device?
Thanks.

Yes, but you need another email account, so in my case I bind an unused email account to that Boox account and then I unbind my phone to use in another one, the reason for that is that you need at least one account to be attached (either phone, wechat or email). The issue that I had after that was that I could not bind my phone to another account, it looked like a bug with their framework. Again It was solved for me (managed to re-bind it to another account) in Boox version 3.0

Thanks for your detailed explanation.
Definitely there is a bug with their framework.
