Map remote keys to volume key

I'm using wechat reader on my nova 2, and bought a remote for turning page. But disappointedly found the remote can only turn page in default reader or kindle.

Wechat reader support turning page using volume key. Is there any change that the directions keys can be mapped to volume keys so that I can turn page with it?

  Hi all, 

  Doe the same apply to the BT pedal remote?  I need it to turn pages in Kobo app and for any comics reader.
