Notes and PDF Scribble bugs (duplicating ghost text)

Hi,

I have had the Onyx Boox Max3 for several months now, and it works great except for a couple extremely stressful bugs which really harms the functionality of the device.

Several times now I have experienced an issue in the Notes app and while annotating PDFs where parts of the text I write will get duplicated and pasted over other parts. It usually happens after I've saved and exited out of a file (with everything looking fine), but once I come back to it some duplicated parts have suddenly appeared.

I've seen the same thing happen when writing on PDFs. I wrote on a PDF, saved, and connected the Max3 to my PC via USB to get the file off, but the saved file I could get off of the device had outdated annotations compared to what I could actually see on the device. So I tried exporting the PDF to a new file, but the new file had duplicated text across some parts.

Needless to say it's very tedious and stressful to try to erase the duplicated text while keeping the correct parts, and in many cases I just have to erase everything and start over.

I would really appreciate a fix for this bug, because I would really love to use the Max3 reliably for doing schoolwork, but unexplained issues like this are major inconveniences.

    In this case, you are suggested to submit bugs on Feedback via Settings/ Feedback on your device.     I submitted a bug report and it was (as far as I know) fixed in a version update. I haven't had the issue since.
