This is not a bug, it is a missing feature. I am not sure what exactly in my wording of this post would indicate it is a bug?

Cristian: they don't understand your question.  And/or it's just a canned response.  However, I'm here because like you I also want a self-hosted sync option.  I don't know Onyx from a stranger on the street, no reason to trust them with my sync'd information.  We will see what they come up with, but i'm not holding my breath.

Judging by the general support received here I would go with canned response, particularly for things they don't want to deal with. I have tried to submit a feedback, but it only results in failed to send.

At least with the official Nextcloud app you can sync on the supported folders, which would only make it usable for library and books. There is also Synchronize Ultimate to sync arbitrary folders, e.g. notes, and you can setup some automatic syncronization logic for it, but you might not have the same version control like in Nextcloud.

There would be 2 possible solutions to this which I have asked here:

    - Support folder structure and folder -> bookshelf translation so we can setup our own apps to it.

    - This proposal to use the same logic they use for 3rd party sync but to support webdav.

If anyone interested and are able to contact other branches of the company, e.g. through the feedback functionality, please consider forwarding these proposals.

One more vote for WebDAV/Nextcloud support.

We can already automatically sync folders, but it's not the same as the integration you offer for proprietary and opaque alternatives such as Dropbox or Boox cloud.

You've already done most of the work by building a framework and just need to include an additional connector.
