Max Lumi as monitor on Linux
Connected a fully charged max lumi to a linux box (latest ubuntu, later latest mint, not much difference I suppose) via hdmi, never showed up as a monitor. Had incoming power to the max lumi. Tried it with the max lumi on, and with the max lumi off - no result either way. Works fine on its own, but not at all as a monitor. It doesn't react when the hdmi cable is plugged in, or when it's removed.
In fairness, I have no idea if this is a linux-specific issue; haven't tried it as a monitor on anything else.

Actually, solved.
I'd thought that when you plugged in the hdmi cable, the hdmi signal would take over. Turns out there's a 'monitor' app that needs to be started. Works fine.
