Nova 3 cannot find home WiFi after first reboot
I have a brand new Nova 3. After powering it up, I connected to my home WiFi (it is 2.4GHz), did some setting up and then powered off the device. After that, my Nova can no longer find this WiFi network. I tried restarting both the device and the WiFi router muliple times, which did not help.
However, I did some testing and every time after restoring to factory settings I could once again use my home WiFi - but only until the first poweroff/reboot. Even if I did a factory reset and didn't connect to the WiFi, the device couldn't find it after the first poweroff/reboot.
Interestingly, it can find my Samsung phone's hotspot without issues even after rebooting the device. I can't get very fast speeds out of my mobile connection (hotspot), so it's a barely functional workaround.
I also tried adding my home WiFi manually, which didn't work. I believe forgetting the connection and connecting again might help, but since the connection doesn't show up, I can't forget it.
This issue is present on both the original and updated firmware. Any tips?

Hello, thank you for your swift reply. Unfortunately, the provided steps did not help with solving my problem. My device can still "see" my home WiFi only after a factory reset until the first poweroff/reboot. I suspect this might be a firmware issue.
Thank you for your help.0 -
I'm going to update this thread in case it helps somebody in the future.
After a few days texting back and forth with the customer support using the built-in "Feedback" function, we were able to fix this issue by changing the 2.4GHz WiFi channel on my router to channel 6.1 -
Hi,I have exactly the same problem. I was only able to use my wifi exactly once, then it stopped seeing my router. So sorry I bought this expensive piece of shit
