v3.1 - Poke3 - Device bricked after most recent maintenance update
I have an open ticket, just wanted to share my experience.
Updated two days ago. After installation the device restarted and loaded the Onyx boot screen and never went past that point. Support suggested I try holding down the power button for longer than one minute but this just causes the device to reboot and load the Onyx logo again. So I'm guessing it's bricked.
I've read about others having this same issue on reddit, I don't know if other Boox devices are suffering the same problem. I'd recommend foregoing any updates for now as it doesn't seem to be an isolated issue.

You are also suggested to submit bugs on Feedback via Settings/ Feedback on your device. Please make sure that you tick the option "send logs" while sending the Feedback so that we can analyze and diagnose the exact problem better.
