Optimization Settings for Nebo Note-taking app
The Max Lumi Notes app is great, but the AI handwriting-to-text conversion does not work for me, unfortunately. The spacing problem is puzzling for example. I need my handwritten notes to be converted to text so that it is searchable in my Obsidian text database. I played around with Nebo and the settings below actually make it usable! I share my settings for the Optimization window, Nebo app, System Status Bar, and trackball. Any other app optimization settings you would recommend? Please let me know. Thank you.
APP OPTIMIZATION WINDOW
Display Tab
DPI settings 207 (other settings should work too)
Whiten Apps Background: On
- Font Color Enhancement: Off
- Dark Color Enhancement: 75
- Light Color Filter: 0
- Use system display setting: Unchecked (off)
- Icon Color*: 0
- Cover color*: 0
- Background Color*: 0
Refresh Tab
Refresh Mode: A2 Mode (Normal works too but has more delay)
Full refresh frequency*: 0
Animation filter*: 0
Use Full Refresh When Page Switched*: On
IN NEBO
Adjust pen setting width to your preference (A2 Mode tends to make the pen width thinner)
SYSTEM STATUS BAR
Finger touch disabled. This is important so that the Nebo screen doesn't move all over the place when writing (due to your palm touching the screen). You can then turn it on when using another app.
TRACKBALL
Since finger touch is disabled, consider adding "page up/page down" buttons so that you can easily add pages while writing and navigate through your note.

* I'm not sure what these settings do and so different settings may be better. Suggestions welcome! Thanks.

How does it work for you now?
When I try to use Nebo on my nova air I don't see the lines I draw until I switch between keyboard and drawing modes. Not even a manual refresh makes them appear, puzzling!
