How to get Auto Rotate to work while in Kindle App?

I am setting up my new Go Color 7 and have installed the Kindle app, where most of my books are. Sadly, it seems that even though I have auto-rotate turned on for the whole machine, it won't work while in Kindle. This is a huge bummer, since I am left-handed and want to have the page turn buttons on the left side. Does anyone know a fix for this?

  We apologize for the inconvenience. In this case, you can open the Kindle app > Swipe down from the top right of the screen to bring up the Control Center > E Ink Center > Optimize > Others > Enable "Force to follow system orientation". After that, please check if the problem can be fixed.
