    Dear customer,

We apologize for the inconvenience. In this case, you can open a notepad > create a new page > click "template" on the toolbar > select a template> on "Default template for new page", tick "Last used template" > and click "OK". Then, please add another page and see if the template will be applied automatically.

What you've suggested is my usual procedure. It hasn't worked.
This morning an update was offered (2025-03-26_15-28_v4.0-rel_2aa96eb60) and the problem persists.

A new handwritten note, created with a template chosen, it's only applied to the first page. Adding a page adds a blank page. Applying a template to the 2nd page and selecting "apply to all pages" still only applies it to existing pages but not new ones I generate with the top-right arrows after the fact. So if I want the template I either need to add it after adding each new page or I must generate a number of blank pages in advance whether I needed them or not.

    Hi Janice,

We apologize for the inconvenience. When you setting a template for the notepad, there is an option called "Default template for new page" at the bottom of the note template page. Please tick "Last used template". For your reference, please follow the steps in the video at the link below:

Then, please check if the problem can be fixed.

That is already my current setting. I have changed settings back and forth to reselect "all pages" as well as "last template used," in case it needed a reminder but there's no change in my new blank page issue.

I'm having the exact same issue. 400 pages in to a lined template, and when I go to Add Page / More Templates / Last used template is checked and the right template is selected (Horizontal Line 24), and it works to create that page, but when I'm working in the notepad, on the last page, and click the page navigation arrow forward to automatically create a new page, it creates a blank, unlined one.

    Hi ZG,

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

In this case, you can open the notepad > add a new page by clicking the arrow button on the top right > if the template of the new page is blank, please click on the template icon on the toolbar > set a Horizontal Line template again and click "OK" > please add another new page by clicking arrow button again. Please check if the template of the new page is still blank.

Yes, confirming I have selected the line option, it creates the new page correctly, but any additional pages do not follow the last template rule.

I have uploaded a video as requested, and submitted a ticket with log data in the Settings > Feedback interface on my NA3C.

I'm responding here so others can learn from this. I received an email after my last comment and video submission, which instructed: "When you click the template icon on the toolbar, please add a custom template by clicking the "add" icon. Then, please select the template and click "OK". After that, please check if the problem can be fixed."

I'm pleased to say that using the "add" icon instead of relying on "last used template" resulted in a properly-applied template (from pdf) which applied to subsequent pages, not just existing pages. That said, I think the issue I was having still deserves to be fixed, however, I'm content to use this pathway when creating new handwritten notes, as needed. Thanks, everyone!

EDIT: Creating a new notebook, my custom template now appears on that template menu, and selecting "last used template" now creates the correct template which is applied properly to future pages. So I guess the lesson here, is to re-add your custom templates to this page, as they used to appear before the update.
