Feature Request - Update Screensaver "Memo" to be Independent of Current Date
The Calendar Memo app allows writing and attaching a "Memo" to any date in the calendar. Separately, under Settings > Desktop & Screensaver, setting the Screensaver to "Memo" will display the content from this memo, however, the memo that is displayed on the screensaver is only the memo for the current date. Once the date advances, this content disappears, and thus the Screensaver being "Memo" is not longer helpful.
The very reason I purchased the Boox was because I need a tablet where I can have a digital todo list, and my digital todo list needs to remain visibly present, just like a piece of paper, even when the tablet is in screensaver mode, as opposed to my list being hidden within an app in a tablet that has its screen turned off. This was the "hope" with this Boox tablet. It is so close, but not yet there. One software change would do it, and it would really expand the functionality of Boox tablets.
If the Screensaver "Memo" option would display a memo that is not tied to the current date, or if the Calendar Memo app would have a "memo" that is not tied to the current date and the Screensaver could choose that memo, then this would solve my problem and add a new functionality for Boox tablets.
Users would be able to use the "Memo" area to display the same content anytime and independent of the date, meaning it could serve as one's todo list and/or as a word of motivation. But to do this, the content of the "memo" needs to remain persistent when the screensaver kicks on, and that memo needs to be independent of the date (because as soon as the date changes, the memo on the screensaver is gone, as it displays the memo for the new date, which means the user has to start over and write their memo/list again. The Calendar Memo area doesn't even have copy/paste to paste content from one dated memo to another date.)
Please implement this request so that the Boox can be what it is meant to be -- a paper replacement.
