Don't Close Apps for Firmware Update
Hello,
I was recently giving a piano performance using my Boox Note Max for my sheet music, when it decided to minimize my sheet music app to let me know there was a firmware update. This is awful usability. I know firmware updates are important, but to minimize the active app to let me know there's an update is not acceptable.
Please move this to if you're on the home screen, rather than fully minimizing my app. I guess I'll have to turn airplane mode on next performance.

Dear customer,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. When there is a firmware update available, the device will detect it and pop up a window to ask if you want to update the firmware. However, the pop-up window will not minimize the app you are using.
In this case, please long-press the music app you are using. Then, please check if there is an "Unfreeze" button. If so, please press the unfreeze button.
Also, you could go to Settings > More Settings > System Update > switch off "Automatically detect updates". After that, please check if it is possible to fix the problem. Many thanks for your understanding.

Thank you for the response. The app is already unfrozen to keep it from being closed when hitting the power button to put the Boox to sleep.
I can turn off automatic updates and just check manually from now on, but this is twice that the app I was using has been minimized to alert me of an update.
The app I'm using is called Mobile Sheets pro (the e-ink version).
