Boox Neo Reader Menu no longer appearing

    Dear customer,

    We apologize for the inconvenience. In this case, you could try to use your stylus to tap on the center of the page. Then, please check if it is possible to bring up the menu.

    If the problem persists, please try to swipe from the side of the page to the center of the page. Then, please check if it is possible to bring up the toolbar. For your reference, please check the video at the link below:

    After you bring up the toolbar, you can bring up the menu or adjust the gesture settings.

    Thanks. Tried:

    - Centre of the screen but the stylus is enabled and so tap writes on the page

    - Swipe from the side of the page closes the app taking me back to the hompeage

    Is there anything else I can try?

    Dear customer,
    If the issue persists, we suggest clearing the storage and cache of NeoReader. Please note that clearing the NeoReader storage will clear the reading progress. However, it will not delete the books. Below are the steps:

    Settings > Apps & Notifications > Applications > find NeoReader > Storage > Clear Data.

    After that, please check if the problem can be fixed.

    I noticed the Neo Reader icon is no longer visible. How do I make it reappear?

    Dear customer,
    The NeoReader is the default app for opening the documents from the Library. This app will not appear on the Apps list. When you open a document from the Library, it will open with the NeoReader by default.

    Thanks. You might want to know but when I was on the previous firmware which was shipped with the device, the NeoReader icon appears as standard.
