feature request: detect when a file open in NeoReader has changed on cloud storage
Dear Boox representative, I love the new ability on boox devices (e.g. Tab X C) to directly open files from cloud storage (eg DropBox, google drive, OneDrive) into NeoReader, such that when you annotate the file (PDF) and save it, it gets uploaded automatically to the original place on the cloud storage. There is one feature that would make this so much more usable which other devices currently support (e.g. "PDF Expert" iOS app for iPAD) which is that when a file currently open in the document viewing app, gets updated on the cloud, the app opens up a dialog box: "This file has been changed in the cloud. Reload the changes?" [Yes, No] If you would press "yes" then the document would simply be re-opened in NeoReader with the latest version from the cloud. There is no easy workaround for this presently. The user either doesnt know that there are updates on the cloud (increasing the chances of a conflict to resolve later - which is messy/time consuming), or they may already know there are updates, but then the NeoReader user has to close the document, then navigate to the document on the cloud -- which can be many folders deep, and reopen it (much harder than just pressing "yes" per above). If there are several files open in NeoReader like this it is quite inconvenient. Please consider this feature request.
Best,
Albert
