Disabling page turning with finger on Boox NoteAir4C

I always accidentally turn the page in the notes application and I cannot figure out how to turn off the feature where you can turn between pages with your finger. When I look up how to do this there is an option that should be available that I do not have on my device. My device is up to date. Did this feature get removed because this is really annoying.

  Dear customer,
  We apologize for the inconvenience. Upon checking with our tech team, they removed the option for disabling the swipe gesture in firmware 4.1. However, they will add a switch for swiping to turn the page in the next firmware 4.1.1. In this case, we will suggest disabling the "Hand touch" option from the control center as a workaround solution now. We highly appreciate your patience and understanding.

  Hi BOOX Shop Service, can you give us a (rough) estimation when we can expect firmware 4.1.1? The workaround does work (most of the time), but it's not ideal as we also can't select menu items by hand if hand touch is disabled.

  Hi Jorick,

  We are sorry that we have not received information on when firmware 4.1.1 will be available. In this case, you could apply for beta test via Settings > More Settings > System Update > Apply for Beta test. After you join the test program, our tech team will send you the beta firmware when it is available.

  Hi,

  I'd rather not use a beta firmware for a device that I have to rely on for my day-to-day.

  Is there a way to safely downgrade the firmware to regain the missing options?
