Kindle App won’t load books with old android version
When I try to open kindle books in the kindle app, I now get an error: “This version of Kindle is no longer supported. Update to Android version 9.0+ for latest version of kindle.” I tried to uninstall and reinstall Kindle, but now kindle does not even show in the app store to download. I have never gotten Google Play store to work, it says this device is not play protected.
Is Boox no longer supporting Kindle and Hoopla apps (Hoopla stopped working about a year ago) on Poke 3? I love my device but can’t use it now. My device has most recent updates for OS.

We apologize for the inconvenience. In this case, please try to uninstall both the Kindle and Hoopla apps from your device first. Then, please try to follow the instructions video below to activate Google Play on the device:

We are sorry that the Google account for work or education is currently not supported. Please use a personal Google account to activate Google Play on your device.
Please note that the process for activating Google Play would take about 1-48 hours. Please kindly wait for Google to activate the service. If you are still unable to use Google Play after 48 hours, please go to App > click the hamburger icon on the top right corner > App Management > App Info > find "ContentBrowser", click it > Storage & cache > clear storage. After that, please reboot the device.
Once you successfully activate Google Play on your Poke 3, please try to download the Kindle and Hoopla apps from Google Play and check if the problem can be fixed.
