Clumsy TTS settings

In using the TTS function of the Neo Reader app on my Note Air 4C I noticed that much of the screen gets hidden under the TTS controls. Is there a mini control bar that can be used to control TTS during reading (just start pause rewind) that will allow a simultaneous view of all the text? Currently I either have much of text hidden or no access to a pause button while the TTS executes.
